About the Artist

Roselie Bongiovi is a senior art education bachelor candidate

that attends Long Island University Post. Her  preferred mediums

are acrylic paints and oil pastels but has experience working with

graphite, charcoal, 3D materials, photography, and digital programs

such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Fusion 360. Born and

raised in Queens, New York, she attended New York City public

schools and was introduced to art making and art education at a

young age. Her interest in the art education field stems from a desire

to help students understand careers outside of STEM as this is

where schools often failed her during her career deciding process.

She also hopes to inspire students to create art by helping students

break their preconceived notions of art making by explaining how

everyone has the ability to create no matter the medium.
